Digital Nails: Run, You Clever Boy

Hello? Yes? Anyone there? Probably not, yet, and that is perfectly fine! After all, this is just another nail polish blog in a sea of amazing and talented painters out there. This is a blog about NAILS IN REAL LIFE. Because I am a real, live person! Fresh faced (ha) from graduate school and about to start a grown-up salaried (small) job in social services. Which brings me to this blog! I discovered that painting my nails is a fantastic regulating behavior that reduces my stress levels. Suddenly, I find myself with an overwhelmingly huge collection (I have to be at least over 400 now) and I have to do something with all of them. RATIONALIZATION! Start a blog. Share my janky-pinkie with the world. Share my huge collection with everyone. Hopefully, help people realize that they need more polish from amazing indie artists. Take over the world. Grand aspirations, granted. So today - I present: Digital Nails Run, You Clever Boy.

Dear Ott-lite, I love you. Have I mentioned that recently?

Pictured: Janky Pinkie.

Have I mentioned how much I love this polish? Because I should. Run, You Clever Boy is this deep wine-red sort of color with green color shifting bits! It applies like a lovely sort of extra-concentrated jelly, was opaque in two coats, and didn't flood my cuticles! And I'm a putz and I always do this! I can't even fully capture the amazing color shift as much as I wanted.

Run, You Clever Boy was not only purchased because it is based off this new show (I think you've heard of it) Doctor Who and his companion, Clara Oswald. I have no idea who this person is, because I'm only as far as Season Five. However, Digital Nails is phenomenal and I would have bought it anyway. Mainly because I went wine tasting last night and I needed a polish that matched red wine.

Anyway, I bought this for myself. If you also want to buy it, for whatever purposes Digital Nails has a shop on Etsy.

    1. Oh goodness, thank you! :) I can only take credit for pictures and application - this polish is really DIIIIIVINE! My pinkie likes to stick out just a bit to the right, but this may have been something I have started to notice now that I stare at my nails all the time.
