HARE Polish Bisbee 2.0 and a shout out to Emerald and Ash

Brace yourselves - Bisbee 2.0 by HARE Polish has arrived!!! I was introduced to HARE Polish by all of my indie-a-holic polish friends and then by blog sales and then I was stalking restocks before I knew it! Anyway, in the last restock I got Bisbee 2.0 and just about pulled a Tom Cruise on my couch. Remember that? Bisbee 2.0 takes after the rest of my vibrant HARE Polishes in the sense where the base color is so freaking bright that my camera cannot handle the pure and unadulterated awesomeness. It also takes after them in the sense where I just about adored the formula so much I could hug it. Anyway, I should probably show you this pictures, since I took so many. 

HARE Polish Electric Flame

Dearest devoted readers (although I'm sure you all aren't on the edges of your seats awaiting whatever polish  I have on this very second) I do so apologize for my lack of updates the past two days. THE HORROR! Unfortunately, I was in a car accident on Wednesday (not my fault) and the car was totaled and everyone had a lovely case of whiplash, soreness, and so on. Very not so good. Have no fear - I am in fact alive and will be getting further medical attention. They also provided me with medication to help with the fantastic muscle spasms/headache/neckpain/general post-accident misery. Also - my whole family is in town for graduation! Which is tomorrow! HUZZAH! I AM ONLY MILDLY OVERWHELMED. Thank goodness for polish. Regardless - I DO have a polish for everyone today! In the most recent restock I nabbed two HARE Polishes. I have for you today - Electric Flame. Now, I am not super into orange. In fact, this may be the third orange polish at all that I own in my 300+ collection. WHAT IS THIS MADNESS?! Electric Flame is a bright orangey peachish sorbet colored crelly with purple and blue glass flecky bits and iridescent blue glitters! I figured this would be a great polish for me to try out orange. And guess what? IT WAS A SUCCESS! 

Look how lovely that is! I wore three coats of polish and still had an eensie bit of VNL. I'm totally "at peach" (haha pun) with it, because I can't get over the iridescence of it. The formula was dreamy at worst, and was relatively self-leveling. This polish was a bit on the thick-ish side, but it made it easier to apply, if that makes sense. Very controllable. I kind of love it. I also think that I was used to having a floody-cuticle hot mess from some super sheer and thin jellies. Hare Polish does an amazing crelly - of the five I have, they're all amazing. I only used one layer of Poshe, and so the tip has some little divots. Also - if there are grey bits, it's because I got lazy when removing a grey flakie polish the day of. WHOOPSIES. In retrospect, I'd probably use two layers of top coat. P.S. AWESOME NEWS ABOUT DRY TIME! I accidentally fell asleep (drowsiness is a wonderful side effect) and this polish dried so fast (even with a heaping layer of Poshe) that I didn't even have sheet marks after my impromptu nap.

HARE Polish Hooky at the Hamlet

You know those polishes that you drool over online for months.... and then you just continuously google them because they're so darn purty? And you repeat that every week? That is what Hooky at the Hamlet was to me. Now - my goal for the summer was to indie it up (regardless, I need to swatch all my mainstream lines anyway). But I was hanging out in chat one day when the lovely people informed me that there was a Hare polish restock. WHAT?! MADNESS?! And then I ran off the Etsy to throw money at the computer. I ended up with two new polishes (I had to be talked out of the full collection because I should probably eat this month) and oh man I was excited. She shipped these babies to me so fast that if I hadn't been F5ing the shipping for days straight that I would have been surprised. Anyway - PICTUREEEESSS!!!

TA DA! Look at how pretty it is. 

I've been waiting for this moment, beautiful tealy-green jelly crelly goddess. Hooky at the Hamlet was a grade-a pain to get color accuracy on and even though I got some good pictures, this teal-green lady was far more bright and gorgeous in real life, especially while I'm eating bacon. Mmm. Bacon. Hooky at the Hamlet has satin white squares, matte white hexes, itty bitty hexes and squares of both, and then SURPRISE iridescent baby hexes. I really love finding surprise glitters in polishes. I LOVE IT. Oh - and there is SHIMMER!!!!!

I used three coats for opacity - which is an ongoing battle in me personal life because the tips of my nails are so freaking white that it makes it difficult. Either way - it took three coats. Not that it was a big deal or anything, because the formula on this was like Vermont Maple Syrup on buttermilk pancakes. I had no glitter placing issues - it just spread right on the nail. No cuticle flooding, no bubbles, nothing. NOT A SINGLE PROBLEM. WHAT MAGIC IS THIS?!

Better lighting magic, that's what. 

But this polish was meant to be matted. This time I used a different matte top coat - Essie Matte About You. It was my first matte top coat, then it got white bits, then I used thinner, now it goes again. But really now - LOOK AT THAT DEPTH! You can really see those surprise iridescent baby hexes coming out to play!

Yum yum yum yum yum.

LOOKIE THERE! SO PRETTY! You can really see the shimmer up close. Mmph. Goodness. Anyway, that's all my pictures! Actually, it's not, but it's all that is fit for the public viewership. In conclusion - I regret not buying more. One day I will have all the money and I will own them all. The formula was phenomenal, the opacity was great, the glitter coverage was magical, and if I could just describe the teal-green-jelly-crelly-goodness in something other than hysterical giggling - I would.

You too can own this masterpiece! And you should. Because it's awesome. In fact, just buy everything. And keep it in a bunker in case of zombie apocalypse. Be the best looking walker - with Hare polish. Oh this is bad. I am going to go get my caffeine on now.
